Freelance Fridays! monthly workshops
New for 2014, CMG Freelance presents Freelance Fridays! regular series of educational workshops. This educational series is free to members and open for a nominal suggested fee to non-members. FF! sessions expand on the day-long Freelance Survival Series that ran in Toronto and Vancouver in the fall of 2013. Participants told us they'd love more time to delve into specifics, so we made it!
Workshop Format
The FF! two- hour format includes a semi-formal presentation, a general Q&A, time for individual case questions and advice, as well as a chance to mix and mingle with participants. These professional development workshops will rotate venues within cities, to make the most of diverse gathering places, public facilities, shared workspaces, neighbourhoods and locales where different sectors of freelancers work, live and make community. We are also looking into options for live online workshops via Spreecast.
